REGULATIONS
We welcome you to Cedar Valley Campground. In order to make your stay and the stay of other campers a happy experience, we ask you to observe the following good camping neighbor practices. If you see anyone abusing these rules, please come and talk to us about any complaints and/or concerns.
REGISTRATION: Campers must register at the office upon arrival. Passes must be displayed in vehicle window at all times. You must be 21 years of age or older to rent a campsite.
FIREWOOD NOTICE: Due to the threat of invasive species such as the Emerald Ash Borer, NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD may be brought into the campground. Moving firewood can spread insects and diseases that kill trees. Please… BUY firewood where you camp! Firewood can be purchased at the office. Thank you for your cooperation.
VISITORS: All visitors must register and obtain a vehicle pass upon arrival regardless of the length of their stay. A visitor is any person (s) entering the property whose name does not appear on the initial registration form as the "registered camper". All visitors must park in the front parking lot and abide by all campground rules. Please advise your visitors prior to arrival, they will be charged a fee for use of the facilities. Visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. No visitors admitted after 8 p.m. No pets allowed for visitors.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in and check-out time is 2:00 p.m. Additional charges for early arrivals or late departures if site is available.
QUIET HOURS: From 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. Children under 18 must be at their campsite during this time or accompanied by an adult. The playground is closed to all campers between these hours. Radios and TVs out-of-doors must be off at 11 p.m. Excessive noise at anytime will not be tolerated.
POOL: Pool is heated. There is no lifeguard. Swim at your own risk. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Proper swim attire must be worn—no cut offs, no diapers allowed in pool. If child is not potty trained, they are not allowed in pool. Posted pool rules apply and are enforced. No food, glass containers, pets or smoking allowed in pool enclosure. Please be responsible in all your actions. No large floatation devices allowed. Pool opens Memorial Weekend thru Labor Day weather permitting.
SPEED LIMIT: Speed limit if 5 MPH at all times. Please drive carefully.
FIRES: Please use established fire pits only. Never leave a fire unattended and must be completely out before retiring. Cutting of trees, peeling of bark and wood gathering is strictly prohibited. Do not pull out the ferns along the river.
PICNIC TABLES: One picnic table is provided for each campsite. Do not take tables from other campsites.
GAME ROOM: Hours of game room will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. See office hours for during week. No smoking or alcoholic beverages is permitted in the game room.
MINORS: All campers under age 21, (seasonal, overnight and day guests) must have an appropriate adult on premises while at the campground. Parents are responsible for their children at all times. It is important for the safety that all minor children to be back at their site by 11:00 p.m. unless accompanied by an adult.
ALCOHOL: Drinking by individuals under the age of 21 will not be tolerated on the premise. Responsible behavior is required by all campers and guests over 21 in regards to alcohol consumption.
MOPEDS, MINI-BIKES, 4 WHEELERS, SKATEBOARDS, ELECTRIC SCOOTERS: Are not allowed except for use by physically challenged individuals - please advise the office at check-in.
GARBAGE / RECYCLING: Campers are responsible for placing their garbage and non-recyclables (glass, plastic and metal cans) in the green dumpsters located on your right as you are leaving the campground. Please keep aluminum cans separate and dispose in can cage near dumpsters. These dumpsters are for camping garbage only, no large items, mattresses, lawn furniture, wood, bikes, etc. Recycling is mandatory in Wisconsin. Remember… please leave your campsite as clean as you found it.
DISPOSAL OF WASTEWATER: State Law prohibits dumping of sewage tanks or gray water tanks (dish/shower water) anywhere on the ground surface except at the designated dump stations. Dispose of at dump stations. Violators will NOT be allowed to stay.
PETS: Pets are welcomed for registered campers. No pets allowed for visitors. Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside and never left unattended. Excessive barking at anytime will not be tolerated. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Pets are not allowed in any buildings such as the game room, bathrooms, restaurant, or pub and also the pool area. Please do not allow children to walk pets. (Note: Owners must be able to provide proof of shot records upon request.) Limit 2 per campsite. Extra charge for second pet. No vicious breeds (pitbull, rottweiler, german shepherd, doberman).
BIKES: NO bicycle riding after dark. Bicycles must be ridden in a safe and responsible manner at all times. No riding on sidewalks.
WEAPONS/FIREWORKS: All forms of weapons and fireworks is strictly prohibited. This includes slingshots, pellet/paintball or BB guns.
NO sprinklers, swimming pools or washing of any vehicles on weekends.
The rules of Cedar Valley Campground have been designed for your safety and comfort. Please read and obey all rules and posted signs. This property is privately owned. The camper accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he does hereby release the Campground and its officers and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to his person arising out of his use of its camping facilities. Furthermore, he agrees to indemnify the Campground, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property, or injury to persons of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its camping facilities. Failure to comply with posted rules and regulation may result in termination of your camp stay with us without a refund. Entrance to the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Cedar Valley to photograph anyone while on the premises and to use any resulting picture for any lawful purpose without compensation to the individual.
