Cedar Valley Campground

Regulations

We welcome you to Cedar Valley Campground. In order to make your stay and the stay of other campers a happy experience, 

we ask you to observe the following good camping neighbor practices.  If you see anyone abusing these rules,

please come and talk to us about any complaints and/or concerns.

 

 

  • ALCOHOL:   Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted.  Excessive drinking, underage drinking, intoxication, or drug use will NOT be tolerated, and are grounds for immediate eviction without a refund.
     

  • BIKES:  Bicycles must be ridden in a safe and responsible manner at all times.  Bikes cannot be ridden after dark.  Helmets are recommended for everyone.  No riding or parking bicycles on sidewalks or cutting through campsites.  Use of ATVs, Skateboards, Long-boards, Roller-blades, Roller-Skates, Mini-Bikes, Rip-Sticks, Electric Cars and Motorized Scooters or any devices that our staff may feel to be a danger ARE NOT ALLOWED.  Motorcycles and Mopeds are allowed only to and from your site.
     

  • CAMP FIRES:  Fires must be attended at all times.  Please maintain fires at a safe level and use established fire pits only.  All campfires must be out by 2 A.M.  NO burning trash, bottles, cans, wood with nails, etc.  NO cutting of trees, peeling of bark, wood gathering, removal or pulling out of any seedlings or ferns on property or any adjoining property.  Do not tie, hang, nail or fasten any objects to and  from trees.
     

  • CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:  Check-in time begins at 2:00 P.M.  / Check-out time by 12:00 Noon.  Additional charges will apply for early arrivals or late departures.  To extend your stay, please check in the office 24 hrs. from date of departure for site availability.
     

  • CHILDREN:  Parents are responsible for the whereabouts, actions and safety of their children and may not leave them unsupervised.  All children and teenagers under 21 must be back at their camp site or with their parents by 10:00 P.M.  Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult in the bathrooms and game room. 
     

  • CLOTHES LINES:  We understand the need to dry clothes, so if you must hang a clothesline, please be certain that you only tie to the trees and remember to remove it when you leave.  
     

  • DISPOSAL OF WASTE WATER:  State Law prohibits dumping of sewage tanks or gray water tanks (dish/shower water) anywhere on the ground surface except at the designated dump stations.  Violators will NOT be allowed to stay.
     

  • EMERGENCY:  If there is an emergency, CALL 911 FIRST, then alert a staff member.  There is a first aid kit located in the office and by the pools.  For after-hours emergencies, CALL 911 FIRST, then call the emergency number on the front door of the office.
     

  • EVICTION:  As a registered camper or guest, you acknowledge the acceptance of these Rules & Policies.  Any Cedar Valley camper or guest found not obeying these Rules & Policies, causing dissension, or displaying any action or conduct we deem unsuitable will be asked to leave without warning and without a refund of any and all payments.
     

  • FIREWOOD NOTICENO outside firewood may be brought into Cedar Valley Campground.   No chopping, sawing or collecting down trees for firewood.  We have adequate, safe, firewood available for purchase at the campground office.  This will help prevent the spread of tree diseases such as the Emerald Ash Borer. 
     

  • GAME ROOM:  Hours of game room will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.  See office hours for during week.  No pets, no smoking or alcoholic beverages in the game room.
     

  • GARBAGE/RECYCLING:  Dumpsters are for camping garbage only.  Campers are responsible for placing their garbage and non-recyclables (glass, plastic and metal cans) in the green dumpsters located on your right as you are leaving the campground.  Please do not use for disposal of appliances, mattresses, metal, furniture, lawn chairs, bikes, or any large items.  If you have any questions regarding acceptability, please contact the office.  Any individual found disposing of such items and leaving a messy site will be charged a fee.   Please keep aluminum cans separate and dispose in can cage near dumpsters. Please be responsible for your own litter including cigarette butts and please  leave your campsite as clean or cleaner than you found it.  
     

  • NO sprinklers, swimming pools or washing of any vehicles on weekends.

  • NO SMOKING:  Smoking of any kind, including electronic cigarettes and "vaping" is absolutely prohibited in all campground buildings, and within the pool or playground areas.  Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.  Please extinguish and dispose of them properly.  The legal age to smoke tobacco in Wisconsin is 21.
     

  • PETS:  Limit of 2 pets per site. Pets must be on a short leash and kept under owner’s control at all times, even at your campsite.  Children under the age of 10 are not allowed to walk pets unsupervised.  Pets should never be left unattended inside or outside of your camping unit.  Pet owners are responsible for proper removal and disposal of their pets waste anywhere in the campground including your site.  Doggie Doo bags are available for  your use throughout the campground.  Waste should be disposed of in dumpsters.  If you fail to pick up after your pet,  you will be subject to a $25.00 fine.   All pets must have current rabies shots.   Owners must be able to provide proof of shot records  if  needed.   Restricted  breeds  are  Rottweilers,  Dobermans,  German Shepherds,  Pit-bulls or any  breed that shows overly protective or aggressive qualities.  Pets are not allowed in any building, nor in the pool or  playground areas.  If your pet likes to bark freely, it may not enjoy our campground.  Pets creating a disturbance or being a nuisance will not be tolerated.  You will be asked to leave the campground without a refund.  Service dogs are welcomed and must comply with all campground rules.  Proper documentation is required.

  • PICNIC TABLES:  One picnic table is provided for each campsite.  Do not take picnic tables from other camp sites.
     

  • PLAYGROUND:  Use playgrounds at own risk.  Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.  No pets, no smoking, no glass or alcoholic beverages in playground areas.  Proper footwear is required.  Improper use of equipment is prohibited.  Playground hours from 8 A.M. to dusk.  
     

  • POOL:  All swimming at the campground is at your own risk. There is NO lifeguard on duty.  Pool rules are posted at each pool and are to be followed.  Only registered campers and guests are allowed in the pool.  No one under the age of 15 is permitted to be in the pool without an adult present.  Swimmers need to shower prior to entering both pool areas and proper swim attire must be worn -- no cut offs, no diapers allowed in pool -- toddlers in diapers must wear swim pants (available in the camp store). NO diving, running or flips.  NO large  flotation devices.  NO coolers,  NO food, NO glass containers, NO pets, NO smoking in pool enclosure. Failure to comply with these rules will result in loss of swimming pool privileges.  Pool will close if  threatening or inclement weather is approaching or present.  Pool and Splash Pad is heated and opens Memorial Weekend thru Labor  Day weather permitting.

  • QUIET HOURS Quiet time is 10 P.M. to 8 A.M.  Radios and TVs out-of-doors must be off at 10 P.M.  Loud radios or excessive noise at anytime of the day or night  is not allowed.  After 10 P.M. your neighbors should not be able to hear your activities.  Violators of this rule may be asked to leave immediately with no refunds. 
     

  • REGISTRATION:  Campers must register at the office upon arrival.  You must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license to make a reservation and to camp.  Car passes must be displayed in vehicle window at all times.  No trespassing on properties surrounding Cedar Valley Campground.
     

  • RESTROOMS, SHOWERS and LAUNDROMAT:  Restrooms and Laundromat are available for your use 24 hours per day except for cleaning.  An adult must accompany children under 10 years of age to showers and restrooms.  Laundering and dish washing is prohibited in the bathrooms.  Please do not leave clothes unattended in the machines at laundromat.  Please help keep these facilities clean. 

  • SOLICITING:  You are not permitted to sell goods/services or distribute information or marketing materials while at Cedar Valley Campground.
     

  • SPEED LIMIT:  5 MPH speed limit is strictly enforced for the safety of children and others.
     

  • SPLASH PADSplash Pad is unsupervised.  Use at your own risk.  Only registered guests are allowed in the splash pad. An adult must accompany children age  12  and under.  No child is to be left unattended at the splash pad.  NO climbing, sitting, and playing on splash pad apparatus.  NO drinking splash pad water.  A drinking fountain is provided for your use.  NO spitting and spouting of water from the mouth.  NO running.  NO rough play.  NO profanity.  NO inflatable pool toys, athletic and other recreation equipment.  NO food, candy, gum, beverages, and  glass  containers.  NO soaps, detergents, and shampoos.  NO pets.  NO changing diapers.  Infants and toddlers must wear a swim diaper.  NO radios and other acoustical devices.  NO skateboards, skates,  Razors®, roller blades, scooters, bicycles, and similar recreation equipment.  NO Smoking.  Proper attire must be worn at all times.  Street shoes are prohibited.  Sandals, flip-flops or appropriate deck wear is recommended.  In case of thunderstorm, lightning or severe weather of any kind, vacate splash pad play area immediately.  Individuals engaging in unsafe or disruptive behavior will be asked to leave the splash pad area.

 

  • VISITORS:  Limited visitors are welcome between the hours of 9 A.M. to 9 P.M.  Visitors are required to pay a visitors fee.  

 

  • WEAPONS/FIREWORKS:   NO firearms, weapons/fireworks of any kind are permitted in the campground.  This includes BB guns, pellet guns, bows and arrows, slingshots and any type of firearms or explosives.  Cedar Valley Campground prohibits the use of any unnamed aerial vehicles (UAV), also known as a drone, for any purpose whatsoever on Cedar Valley Campground property and may remove anyone using a UAV and/or confiscate the UAV.  Metal detectors are not allowed.

 

The rules of Cedar Valley Campground have been designed for your safety and comfort.  Please read and obey all rules and posted signs. This property is  privately owned. The camper accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he does hereby release the Campground and its officers and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to his person arising out of his use of  its camping  facilities.  Furthermore, he agrees to indemnify the Campground, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property, or injury to persons of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its camping facilities.  Failure to comply with posted rules and regulation may result in termination of your camp stay with us without a refund.  Entrance to the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Cedar Valley to photograph anyone while on the premises and to use any resulting picture for any lawful purpose without compensation to the individual.
