2023 Activity Schedule
May 5 to Sept. 16

We will be open and look forward to your camping stay.  We ask you to continue to follow the CDC guidelines. The safety of our employees and customers remain our top priority.  What is expected of our campers?  Stay home if someone in your party is sick, tests positive, or has a known high risk of exposure to Covid-19.   We place your health and safety above all other considerations.  Please help us all out by following sensible social distancing practices in the meantime.  We hope all our campers and their families remain safe and healthy to enjoy the great outdoors!

Opening Weekend
April 28 & 29

OPENING WEEKEND--Seasonals Only--Welcome  Back!  Official start to the 2023 camping season for Seasonal Campers Only this weekend.  Pot Luck Dinner on Saturday.   Site clean-up.

Please Note:  All Events & Theme Weekend Activities at Cedar Valley Campground are subject to change without notice.

Kentucky Derby
May 5-7

KENTUCKY DERBY--Come and enjoy our Derby Party in the Valley Pub.  Pick the winning horse, ladies enter in  the  Derby Hat contest and  Gentlemen, wear your finest Derby attire.  Bring a dish to pass for the Derby Party on Saturday afternoon.

Mother's Day
May 12-14

MOTHER'S DAY---Celebrate Mom this weekend.  Make Mom a surprise gift.  Mom's register for a Special Gift Drawing. Free coffee & donut for Mom on Sunday morning.

Camper's Yard Sale*
May 19-21

CAMPER'S YARD SALE---Bring your items to sell at the Camper's Yard  Sale.  Set up and sell right on your site.  

*This event is for registered campers only to sell.

Memorial Weekend
May 26-29

MEMORIAL WEEKEND--Three-night minimum--Antique & Modified Tractor Pull on Saturday.  Swimming Pool and Splash Pad Opens. DJ on Saturday night.  Kids Crafts.  Adult Bean Bag Tournament on Sunday.  

School's Out for Summer
June 2-4

SCHOOL'S OUT for SUMMER---Time to put this school year behind with a weekend of FUN... hiking, biking, fishing, swimming and lots more!

June 9-11

SASQUATCH SEARCH---There has been a sighting of a mysterious figure at Cedar Valley.  See if you can capture BIGFOOT on camera.  Join the Sasquatch search team at dusk for an adventure.

Father's Day Weekend
June 16-18

TRIVIA CHALLENGE--Think you know something? Prove it!  Come join us for a fun afternoon in the Valley Pub.  Win prizes as your test your knowledge with family and friends.  Get your team ready for a great trivia challenge!

American Flag
4th of July Celebration June 30 - July 4th

JULY 4th  CELEBRATION---THREE NIGHT MINIMUM. Kid’s of all ages, young and old, bring your decorated bikes, strollers or decorate yourself for the Red, White & Blue Parade.  Chainsaw Carving Show.  Annual Adult Pool Party.  DJ.  Adult Bean Bag Tournament.  Fireworks Display. 

Wine & Cheese
July 7-9

WINE & CHEESE---Wine and cheese social Saturday afternoon ($).  Bring an appetizer to pass. 

Christmas in July
July 14-16

CHRISTMAS IN JULY---Santa will make a surprise visit.  Ugly Sweater Contest.  Campers pick the best decorated campsite.  Bring a $10 gift to participate in an Adult Gift Exchange in the Valley Pub.  Stop at our Photo Station for more Christmas fun!

July 21-23

New Year's Eve---Be there when the ball drops in the Valley Pub.  Hats, horns, fun and excitement for all!  Live Music on Saturday night.

R & R Weekend
July 28-30

R&R Weekend---It’s  time  for  a  little  rest  &  relaxation.  Enjoy hanging out at the pool or in the evening at your campfire, counting the stars, or roasting marshmallows!

SEASONAL MEETING---Join us for our Annual Seasonal Meeting with Sunday morning brunch.  Sign up in office by 7/30/2023 if attending.   Please bring your favorite dish to pass.  


Elvis Weekend
August 12-14

ELVIS TRIBUTE---Get a chance to see Elvis and hear some of his most remembered songs.  Karaoke to follow.   Shanty Days in nearby Algoma.

Corn Roast Weekend
August 18-21

CORN ROAST---Cedar Valley's Annual Corn Roast to all registered campers.  Sign up in the office by 8/11/23, if you plan to attend.  Please bring a home-made dish to pass.

Poker Walk
August 26-28

POKER WALK---A campground favorite. Come to meet neighbors and friends.  This year’s theme will be “There's No Place Like Home."  Let us remember the importance of life's journey & friendships. Please register at the office if you would like to be a host site.

SEASONS CHANGE---Fall is here!  Take a quiet walk along the river to enjoy the beautiful colors at Cedar Valley.

HALLOWEEN---Kids bring your costume for site-to-site Trick-or-Treating.  Site Decorating Contest.  Adult Costume Party & Dance with Karaoke Saturday Night.

Campground closes for the year to Daily Campers on Sunday afternoon.  Thank for camping with us in 2023!  See you in 2024!
